Waiting for Betsy

Waiting For Betsy is a gem of an album. Daniel Nahmod, the man behind Betsy, has written some great songs for this project. Some of them are laugh out loud funny and clever. Normal, Rad Baby Jenny, Don't Love Me So Much and Track 2 are wonderfully witty in their lyrics with catchy music. Just Another Girl, Up Comes the Sun and What I Didn't Say have bittersweet lyrics and a beautifully layered musical sound. The other songs are equally as good as the ones that I have mentioned by name. This is a rare, intelligent CD that makes you laugh at its many jokes while making you sad from the bittersweet relationship songs. Get this music and be prepared to listen to it over and over and over and over and not get tired of it. This is a gem!
