  • Beautiful, earnest and aimed directly to the heart

This is the best album of the year. Pure in direction, I cannot stop listening to the songs. His voice wails emotionally and the writing is both simple and engaging. This album could have been written at any time in the last thirty years but it works perfectly for right now. This is a rock album full of wisdom, musicality and substance. Bravo.

Honestly....Starsailor is the most talented group of musicians you will ever listen to. I've been listening to them from the beginning and each album is really a masterpiece and simply beautiful.

This band should be huge in this and every other country in the world. The Brits have it down when it comes to that pop/rock thing and this album is no exception. Please just buy the first song and if you don't like it then a) i pity you and b) you still have your copy of Viva La Vida to comfort you. (no offense to you or Chris & the boys) I have not heard a better album this year in any genre. God Bless Starsailor!!

Another great album from Starsailor. Three of the songs on this album alone make it well worth the wait: "Neon Sky", a soaring ballad filled with many a moment of repentant regret; "Listen Up", a throbbing and insistent rocker that reaches out and grabs you by the jugular; "Hurts Too Much", a raw, anthemic paen to the the pains of a relationship gone wrong. All three have been on regular rotation since having downloaded the album a few days ago and I've been Starsailing ever since. Thanks for the great music guys.

I waited so long for this album and I must confess it was worth the wait! Starsailor's music continues to grow as each song is a treasure waiting to be discovered....

Starsailor is one of those bands--underappreciated and undervalued. While other bands from the 2000s are fading away (Keane, anyone???), Starsailor has stepped up with another stunning album. I think they are just getting better. A more mature sound, and, as always, great singing. My favorites are the title track and Hurts Too Much, which just has so much resonance. Well done, Starsailor. (I actually bought the album from the UK two months ago, I couldn't wait.) Get this, and then click to Doves and get Kingdom of Rust. Two of the best albums of the year.
  • Waited for a long time, not disappointed!
