Memories of "Haight"-ful times. Now we need to get 200 Motels in the Movies area.
  • The Art Of Sampling

Sampling is an art. Benefits are that it allows history to repeat itself to a different & new generation of listeners. Who would have known this group without someone sampling them? Sampling great tunes also can manifest into great modern day music. Looks to me that Flo & Eddie owe the Iceman a favor for even considering to sample their song. I'm sure it will rejuvenate their career. I never heard of them until now. Good LOOK! If it weren't for Hip Hop & sampling as a whole, people and their music choices would be way more limited. Big ups to all the pioneers & current sampling innovators of today!

Keep It Warm is by far the best song...getting some more attention thanks to Gucci Mane of all people. It is a catchy tune that encourages the listener to let loose, have fun, and live free! Thanks Gucci for bringng this great song in to 2010 and making it relevant to a whole new generation of listners.

I loved this album when it was released the mid-70's. I listened to it repeatedly and I already had it on my iPod when I found it here. There are a couple of sappy tunes, particularly Best Friends, which is a little embarrassing, but I loved and still love Mama Open Up, Keep It Warm, Elenore, and Moving Targets. By the time you buy those, you might as well buy the whole album!
