I would say this band is a mixture between Neurosis and Crowbar; you can definitely tell Minsk was influenced by these bands. Overall, this is an entrancing album and will undoubtedly paint pictures in your mind. If you like Neurosis or Mastodon, or sluge and progressive metal in general, definitely give this album a try.

... in a very good way. This kinda makes me think of a much sludgier version of Mastodon. Or perhaps Tool? Either way, this album is very interesting, and it seems to exude an air of post-apcalyptia in its sound. Very cool.
