This is pretty close to a rock and roll masterpiece. Almost 20 years later it still holds up and in fact seems even better.

With 13.25 in my wallet tax apparently is so high that 3.26 cents isn't enough for tax on a 9.99 album. Rip

An album that will not let you hit stop. I suggest you purchase this immediately. You were wrong is a masterpiece of wit and songsmanship.

Great album. Not a clunker in the lot. Particularly attached to "Else". And "you were right" has more good music references then any song ought to. But it works of course. Enjoy!
  • There's a reason why everyone's giving this five stars.

I'm shot into space, and I'm not coming back, and there's a CD player in the dash. There's no room for anything except Slim Jims, Doritos, trail mix, some bottles of water, astronaut ice cream, and two CDs. So I pack a Beatles album- who knows which one - and Built to Spill's Keep it Like a Secret.

A fave album featuring my fave rock guitarist of the 90's (the 80's belong to d. boon, kurt kirkwood, and j. mascis) - the playing and guitar sounds are pure ear candy. Some seriously trippy and totally badass stuff!
