Reviews

  • Another so-so record

I really wanted to like this CD when it came out, but it still didn't compare to the secular artists out there like EPMD, Public Enemy and Erik B and Rakim. There is a lot of emulation of those crews on this record, but not enough creativity. I get sad when I see artists who are Christians make music that sounds secular instead of just making music. SFC brought some fire with "A Saved Man, but still only half the album was great. I never got a good response from any of this music when I played it to non-christian friends. Pretty sad that it only entertained those who it wasn't made for.

If you've never listed to this album, you are missing out on a true classic. Regardless if you like Christian music or not, this is Hip-Hop in its purest form. This is one of my top five albums of all time, give it a listen and buy this one. You will not be disappointed! Thanks iTunes for finally posting this stuff for many others to check out and enjoy!

This is PID at their best! Every album they put out was different, and this was their 3rd and most diverse. I'm still waiting on "Here We Are" to come out on itunes, but I still have this thing memorized back from the day. Buy this thing!
