Bright, loose, sunny, tight, happy, from one of their great years. All good. Seems groups can be in their prime. A good argument can be made for May 77, but listening to this DP, I have to consider 1974 to be prime as well. When things seemed to be going up and up and up....

What seems like a lifetime ago I picked this one up. It has been one of my go-to Dicks Picks, 10 being another, for years. The Weather Report Suite>Stella Blue is by far one of my favorite things to listen to. This is a wonderful starting point for anyone finding themselves wanting more Grateful Dead in their life.

Highly recommend for those just getting into the Grateful Dead. Just standard and solid versions of their hits. Dark Star is a good place to start and a big hit.
