There's not much more to be said about these guys that isn't already here. I'm just vouching again for how great this band is. Truly top-tier progressive metal; if you're into prog, this will easily be one of your favorite bands. Enjoy the music! 5 stars, hands down.

I luckily stumbled across this band from iTunes recomended for you and it is one heck of an albu. This is some of prog metal's finest bands. The bass player for this band is inredibly tight and always has sick riffs going on. The guitar is technical and fast at times but also melodic, and there are never uneeded jams here. The drummer is pretty solid and has some interesting beats as well. It's all killer and no filler. The vocalist isn't amazing but he certainly gets the job done and is still interesting to listen too. This is a concept album and the lyrics are very interesting and well put together. 38th floor is definetly my favorite song off the alum. And only $12 for 140 minutes of epic prog...you simply cannot turn this deal down!

What a wait this has been. This new CD has been several years in the making but here it is!! The new lineup with Michael Turner on vocals has a definate Queensryche esque ( If that's a word? ) sound to it. The band itself is tighter than ever with solid drumming and great guitar hooks. If you like the style of great prog rock bands like Dream Theater with big jams & epic songs, then Hourglass is right for you. Don't miss the chance to add this new 2CD set to your Itunes library!! Rock On!!
