First saw these guys opening for Mastodon, never heard their music before, and was blown away. These guys are heavy riff making gods. Own all their albums.
- This album has 5 much swag

I ate my cats heart to this album twice, and Im still harder than a rabid antelope. 4 stars because my music taste is so evolved that to give it anything more would give me hepatitis.

I love this album. Every song has a different kind of style, but at the same time has the heavy guitar and bass. I saw them live with mastodon at 9:30 club in d.c and I was hooked. That was the first time I heard red fang. Their still my favorite band.

1) Prehistoric Dog 9/10- Great headbang song! The main riff is amazing while everything else is extremely heavy and stoner rock like.
2)Reverse Thunder 8.5/10- The guitar parts seem backwards... but I guess that's why its called "Reverse Thunder." The verse is kinda so-so, but when the chorus comes around it seems solid.
3)Night Destroyer 7/10- A heavy song! Not extremely memorable, but cool.
4)Humans Remain Human Remains 9/10- I just really love the buildup in this song. It seems long but you have to listen to the whole thing because it gets more awesome as it goes along.
5)Good to Die 10/10- Perhaps the best song on the album. The first listen, It sounded like meh to me. But now I love it better than Prehistoric Dog. It has the perfect balance between heavy and melody.
6)Bird On Fire 7/10- A really fast paced song, but nothing seems that special about it.
7) Wings of Fang 6/10- By this part of the album, all the songs almost sound the same. This song is cool in a weird, unorthodox way.
8)Sharks 7.5/10- This song brings back more flavor to the album with cool little riffs and righteous breakdown
9)Whales and Leeches 8/10- Just an overall rad song that goes from heavy to eerie then back to heavy.
10)Witness 6/10- Seems like an average song to me. Kind of cool verse and what not.

This album charges right out of the gate with Prehistoric Dog. I love this song and the video is RAD! I think the rest of the album kind of fades but no remorse here. Good stuff all around.
- no complaints

My version of Valhalla is where I get to sleep all day, drink beer watch Red Fang all night, and shag tattooed strippers until I fall asleep. I'd then wake up the next day not remembering the night before and do it all over again.
