Uuugh. So disappointed that this is not the same as the CD I had on my mission and that we listened to constantly when we got married. Thankfully I’d only purchased one song (I Cry The Day That I Take The Down). I’d have been so bummed if I’d. Iight this version of Three Kings and Homeless.

I bought a bunch of the song under the original cover art thinking I would get the original amazing songs... Nope! Instead that are these weird jacked up versions. Michael has gone full George Lucas and screwed up his timeless classics.

I absolutely love The Forgotten Carols. However, I enjoy the CD from 1991 much more. Seems to be much more powerful.

the 20th anniv copy is not the original! this one… i played against the very original and it either is the orig. recording or it is really close cause i couldn't tell it apart. try listening to the 20th anniv. album songs homeless and mary let me hold her baby, then come back to this one and listen to those same ones. which do u think is better and more original? once i listened to the 20th anniv. i knew this one was way better… tho maybe or maybe not the very first recording we all knew by heart and loved growing up! :) McClean still gives a great performance in either:)
