I love listening to Kim Hill & so does my 11 yr. old son. He loves Be Still & Know as well as Black Shirts from her 1988 Reunion Records CD produced by Brown Bannister & Jerry McPherson. I so wish they would play these songs on K-Love in Indianapolis, IN to spread how AWESOME these songs are!!!! :D

This album is a buried jem. The lyrics are smart. The music is crafted by well-studied musicians. Many of whom were some of the best Christian artists in the business at the time. Artists that were either working in the top forty or went on to do so. I'm not familiar with the praise-and-worship Kim Hill that is out today. This is the Kim Hill I am famliar with. These lyrics are truthful and painful at times. Not to say, she has changed, only that the business often dictates how an artist is perceived. If an artist is to be judged by their work and not their marketing department, Kim Hill would be known as a master craftsmen.
