Yes, this album came out right after Tramaines knockout relase "The Search Is Over. To be honest, I wasn't a fan of Vernessa Bell Armstrong until this album. I purchased this for my mother as a Christmas gift. We were sitting listening to it, and "Pressing On" plays, and im totaly floored. This was a tight..an urban R&B sound that suited Vernessa's vocal to the tee. It was like we had a gospel Areth Franklin. I've ben a fan ever since. This is one of the best gospel albums of all time in my opinion.,

She was awesome with an anointed voice then and the same is true now. I hope to hear from her again with songs fresh and inspiring for the youth, the twenty-somethings as well as us baby-boomers. God bless her.

This is Vanessa's First attempt at Urban Contemporary Gospel, and it was release during the HEIGHT of Urban Gospel, right after Tramaine's THE SEARCH IS OVER album. This was a very GREAT & SMOOTH album by Vanessa as it really showed here versatility in musical style and ministry.
I was in the 11th Grade when this came out, which should let you critics know that this form of Gospel was NOT CREATED for you Traditional folks. This album was an inspiration to me as a Teen. This is ministry brought to the youth and those in the Streets on their level. And Trust me, IT WORKED FOR ME THEN, and it is still working for young people now. A GREAT BUY for Young People and others who love Urban Gospel.
