This music is just flat out raw like Lamb of God, while staying just as organized. This band is unique, in the aspects of its vocals which arent quite guttural, but are brutal nonetheless and have that nasty pitch every metaal fan truly loves! the lyrics are also outstanding. This is truly an awesome band.
  • Amazing Band

@Nerdlinger; if you ever check this you should know that the change is because they found out that another band had already been recording under the name Lazarus and due to copy right issues they had to change their name. Rather than thinking a new name they dubbed themselves Lazarus A.D. The new cover of Onslaught was released under Metal Blade Records while as the original was self released. Can't answer your question about the lower prices though, but I gladly bought the original for $15 rather than the new one for $10 to support my favorite Thrash Metal band. Check out Black Rivers Flow (Their sophomore album) for more awesome thrash/groove metal! PS: I want opinions. Anyone else think Jeff Paulick (Lead Vocals/Bassist) looks like Dimebag Darrell Abbott reincarnated? Furthermore; my friends and I have come to realize he Is Dimebag mixed with Tom Araya (Of Slayer) and Cliff Burton rolled into one... Dimebag for his looks, Araya for his vocals, and Burton for his amazing bass playing.

I have been listening to metal since I was a kid and I am now 37 years old. These guys remind me of some of the metal bands of old and its nice to see a band like this keep thrash alive. Great grooves, not a lot of growling and the songs don't all sound the same. These guys kill it.
  • Great Album, can't wait for their next release

This album is an incredible onslaught (pun intended) of thrash metal. Considering that this is Lazarus A.D.'s debut album, they have some major talent. It will be very interesting to see what they do with their next album.
