Say what you will about his addictions and demons, the dude was talented. Easily one of the best of his era. While Vedder and Cornell stayed in their respective lanes to become stagnant shadows, Weiland rode the whirlwind. Paid the price, lost his life. Didn't go out like Elvis - all religious and fat. Went lean like Bowie, a pretty Bowie lean machine.

I remember many long nights during my "dark" period listening to this album over and over again. Some songs have this audio grit that just gets in your head...a terminal buzz pulsated in your mind. Thsoe days might be over but at least I can listen to the sound track. Played a lot of N64 Ogre Battle while listening to this. It's better than you might think. Sometimes the addict mind makes wonderful things.. this is one.

Hey, Anyone ever got so high they tried to start a car by blinking their eyes? Well, I have and so has Scott. This documents a wild period for one of rock's greatest. Is it like STP? No, and that's the point... Way to go! I still dig a large portion of the album.

I think that to appreciate this album for what it is, you have to have a little patience and listen start to finish. There is so much variety here that you don't know what is coming next. Disregard all the negative press that Scott gets for his personal life and just enjoy his music.

I have made myself a resolution to sit down and listen to this one a few times. So far. . .some of it is just too weird for me to get into. Some of it is musically inspiring. A thumbs up and down?

This is truly one of the best recordings of the 90's. His melodic sense combined with his fearlessness in exposing his humanity is truly astounding. Here is an artist opening their soul and letting you see inside.
