I Say I Say I Say

This is by far, hands down, my favorite Erasure album. This album is amazing from start to finish. No need to skip any songs as they are all gems that always lift me up and really get me going no matter when I play it. I consider this album an Erasure masterpiece. I also think following I Say I Say I Say in the Erasure album masterpiece department are the albums Chorus and the self-titled 'Erasure'. These 3 Erasure albums are a must for true Erasure fans. None of these 3 albums disappoint.

It’s funny, sometimes you don’t realize something at the time. When this album first came out in 1994, I lined up to get it, but wasn’t blown away…not disappointed, but not, thinking it was anything terribly special. Twenty years later I completely have a differing view…it’s such a thoughtful and musical album. Easily their best!

This album will forever serve to remind me of a better time in my life. .....but that was an amazing time to be alive.

This album was my introduction to Erasure. I consider it their best. "Always" is the hit single. I find "All Through the Years" and "So the Story Goes" very moving. Once you warm up to this album you can listen to it over and over and not tire of it.

Sounds as good today as it did over 10 years ago.

This is a gorgeous album. This marked a new direction for erasure, a more mature and deeper sound. Don't expect "Oh L'Amour". This album holds up to endless replays. One of my all-time favorites.
