“Wishing” was for me the song I could not wait to be released. Back in 1983 Arista had a snafu with distribution and this song took over 18 weeks from its premiere on MTV and radio to officially arrive in my hands. Still to this day the track brings back that memory and feeling I had when I first listened to which is why of all the songs ever it is my third most loved song. The rest of the album is classic AFOS expanding on their debut album. Producer Mike Howlett again at the helm help create an atmosphere to become immersed in (as he did for Berlin’s Love Life as well). Sadly the bonus tracks from the cassette and the 9min and radio of version of “Wishing” are not included here.

lots of echo and vintage synth... great guitar licks and chanting drum beats make a wonderful chemistry...
  • Almost but not quite enough...

The first reviewer is right. Where are the bonus tracks? I always loved "Yuri Gagarin".

Not sure why it has taken so long for iTunes to offer Listen-glad it's finally here! This is THE best album from AFoS!! (It will make you forget about "I Ran"!) "Listen" was about twenty years ahead of it's time. Too bad the extra cassette songs aren't available with this release, songs like "Quicksand" and "Rosenmontag" will surely be missed by fans but at least the rest of this albulm is finally available!
