My first Mudvayne album was LD 50. For those who didn't listen to that album, it's a must before even spending any money on any of their latest albums. This wasn't Mudvayne, it was a soft version of themselves. Everyone says "they tried something new." This is album 3 that they tried something new and it sucked! Their first 3 albums were awesome. LD 50 brought you Chads growls in dig and lyrical rampage in Under My Skin. Though Silenced brought that back and followed through with Not Falling off of their 2nd album were hard, when Lost and Found hit, I was confused what motivated them to write IMN, Rain. Sun. Gone and TV Radio. Like seriously guys? Did they take their B Side tracks and compose them? Than they release Mudvayne, self titled, and I have to say that's when they took two steps back! I appreciate By the People for the People because they gave us their evolutionary periods of music, but somewhere during the time that they made that compilation of random tracks and demos they lost themselves as a heavy metal band and sold out. I must admit I've purchased every album because I support them even when they turned into garbage, I followed through because I was truly a fan of LD 50, TEOATTC and Mudvayne.

Definitely the best album they've ever released. I'm over this music, I'm older and have moved onto heavier music, (Chelsea Grin is my favorite. But I also love Born of Osiris, Parkway Drive, For The Fallen Dreams, etc.) and I'm a huge guitar player. With the being said, it's so nice to go back to great albums like this. I personally thing this album was greatness. I've been listening to Avenged Sevenfold's self titled, and City of Evil too lately. This album is very well put together and the intricate riffs and creativeness of the album really flows. Everything about it is amazing, it's such a great feeling to look back on good albums like this one. If you haven't bought yet, do it. You won't be disappointed.

the only okay thing about this album is the guitar in my opnion...and it isnt even that great. previous albums have much more of what fans want n what they are looking for. screaming vocals mixed with guitars shredding and drums a banging...seems like the band is dying out
