Down In the Flood - Single

I love how the style of guitar on this song or the effect placed on its sound (I don't know much about guitars as of right now) makes it sound like Jimmy Page's guitar playing on Led Zeppelin's "Travelling Riverside Blues", one of my favorite songs of all time.

Huge Trucks Fan and I have to say I have never been excited about an album until I heard this single, Mattison give a soulful vocal track along with a catchy hook makes for a good start to an incredible album release!!! 5 Stars All The Time!

He actually never left, i love his sound and use of diffrent guitars on this track and at the same timing maintaing his sound. guitar to amp, thats all he needs

oh man, saw them in NJ a few weeks ago, they played this track, made me real excited to hear the new album ,...real bummed i still gotta wait 2 months for it... my gut tells me the album will be AMAZING when it hits the streets. band is locked in lately and the new home studio of derek's i'm sure made for a great recording experience... this track is a great hint as to what;s in stor for the album's release in Jan '09

This is the best work Trucks has ever done. I can't wait for the release of the entire album.

I heard them play this song at the Starland Ballroom and at the Paramount Center for the Arts, so at first I thought the surprise of how it would sound was ruined. It wasn't. The live experience and the studio experience are both very different, but both absolutely amazing. And whoever thinks this is an insult to Bob Dylan obviously doesn't know what a good cover sounds like, because I can't think of many other covers that do the artist as much justice as this one. Dylan fans, actually listen to the song before you say anything.

This song is really, really good!! A must have for all DTB fans. The new album should be incredible!!

This is probably the heaviest DTB tracks yet, can't wait for the new album. It's got a great Zeppelin "Levee" vibe to it.
