If you like any of the bands listed in some of the other reviews, this is worth picking up. Shayfer's music sound bits from an exellect musical (but of the "Sweeney Todd" type), and sticks with you long after listening.

This is a very unique sound Mr. James has and one that will stay with you. This is a must buy for indie music lovers.

A brilliant combination of lyrics and music, Shayfer James and "Red Room, Vol. 1" is like the best from Coldplay, Dave Matthews, Springsteen, and the Killers put into one. This album will truly arouse and captivate the soul of the listener--almost bringing an entire new, inventive, genre of music to the industry. From the rapid, joyous pace of "Godspeed", to the ominous and tender voice in "Room By Room", Red Room, Vol. 1 is a radiant and inspiring album.
