I bought this album after hearing it at a pizza pub down the street. It's been hard not to listen to it now. The drums make awesome, groovy beats, and the strained-for-pitch vocals are naturally fit to the chill acoustics. I hope MTB keeps doing the acoustics because they sound freakin' awesome. I highly recommend this album!

As a Minus the Bear fan for a few years now, I kind of just happened upon this acoustics album. And I have to say, it is pretty great. The acoustic "Pachuca Sunrise" is great and "We Not a Football Team" sounds like it was meant to be played without reverb. Great buy, all the way thru.

I have always loved MTB. Ever since Highly Refined Pirates they have just been able to be "the band". This album shows them at the purest. After seeing them last October, they just have gone through the roof. From "Guns & Ammo" a live, upbeat song, to their acoustic version of "Ice Monster." the Cd is just perfect from beggining to end. click yes if you agree.
