I totally forgot I had this album (and the show) and recently started listening to it again. Not only is this just a fun album filled with great humor and great music, but it's a wonderfully diabolical piece of commentary that skewers popular stereotypes. We have the sensitive but shy Dr Horrible who just wants to be noticed. He's over shadowed by the heroic-but-completely-vain insensitive jerk Captain Hammer. He gets all the attention because of his Heroic Good Looks and can-do action. Trouble is, if it meant he'd get even attention and have even more sex, Captain Hammer would just as easily be evil as he's really just into it for himself. Finally, there's the peaceful Penny, who could really care less about getting attention and Just Wants To Help Change The World. She's so passionate about change, though, that she can't see the reasons behind Hammer's action, just the superficial results. Horrible, on the other hand, sees only the reasons. The hollowness of Hammer's motivation angers him and blinds him to the consequences of his own actions. And it's fun. And evil. And has an evil mastermind horse that does nothing but stand and look horse-bored.

Ha, not even going to pretend it's for your kids or nephews are ya?

I can't stop listening to this album

I literally watched this fifteen minutes ago and immediately went onto iTunes to buy this album because there is not a single song on this album I don't like
