I had all the Archie comics when I was younger and jumped with excitement over them getting a TV series and their own group. Though I have rebought most of my Archie collection, it's nice to see people buy them and boost the price. I don't care about the price for myself, but it means people will try to preserve them more. Now to the music:
This is a super joy. I wish I could hear a tad more of Ron Dante in it, but he is very pleasantly dominant in a few. The girls who sing for B&V have really got the sound down. The songs are oh sooo really Archies with that Danter Bubblegum Touch.
It's super to see their other music now available, re-mastered. However, to me, even at 51... okay, 52 the thought of new Archies music is one of my biggest delights. I still love all of my other music from New Age to Classical to Eighties Rock, but I still act like a young kid in love when I listen to the Archies.

I love Archie Comics... I read them (I'm of the younger generation) and this sounds great. Can't really hear Jughead though.

This is The Archies for a brand-new generation! Ron Dante's familiar Archie combined with Danielle van Zyl & Kelly-Lynn's new Betty & Veronica make for a sound that can't be beat. Older Archies fans won't be disappointed, and new fans will love it! I can imagine this as a soundtrack for an animated Archie Christmas Show.
I hope this paves the way for other new Archies material!

The Archies are back and sounding great! The vocals by Ron Dante and up-and-coming singer Kelly-Lynn are wonderful. The song "Archies Christmas Party" is a really catchy tune. I say get it, it's a good Christmas party album.

This album would have been great when I was 12 back in 1969, but it's still great to hear at 51. I'll be sending these out as Christmas presents to some of my old friends that watched the Archies cartoon every saturday morning. Ron Dante (Archie) sounds better than ever. Merry Christmas!!!
