This album is by far one of the best artistic works of music that I have ever heard. Reign of Kindo has the perfect blend of jazzy guitar, piano, and fabulous vocals. These guys are pure musicians, not the kind of "Artists" that copy some other band's sound so they can get radio space and make it big. These guys are true artists, creating their own music with a unique style that is simply profound.

I was first introduced to this Buffalo-based quintet while in my friend’s car, having a “who is this playing on your iPod?” moment. Ever since that day, I have been a fan of The Reign of Kindo. The musicianship of the band is nothing short of amazing, as they synthesize so many different styles and genres into a sound all their own. It’s not quite jazz, It’s not quite rock... but, it is something really well-done. This album, “Rhythm, Chord, & Melody,” is one that I still play constantly, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. It is, for me, one of those rare albums where I won’t have to hit the “Skip/next” button, and I am hard-pressed to find a weak song on this record. As I have read others say, this is what music should be today.

this album is fantastic. it just hit me....if i could choose to have my band emulate any band, it'd be these guys. the musicality is what gets me. that and the emotion, they really put themselves into their music. i recommend it to anyone with functional ears

Where to begin... I honestly can't say enough good things about this collection of songs. It's been nearly two years and this album has not left heavy rotation on my ipod. I can't think of another album that's had such lasting value. There's so much going on, it's one of those albums you can listen to a nearly infinite number of times and still find something new every time you listen to it. Innovative, Intricate, and still somehow highly accessible. A must have to any music lovers' album collection

This album is a rarity these days. Great vocals and instrumentalists. Definitley worth the buy!

I can't get over some of the crap that gets famous these days, from Britney to JT and all the bullcrap artists that don't even write music, let alone sing well without a computer constantly adjusting their pitch. THIS IS MUSIC. This is melodic throughout, but dissonant enough to remind you of your Major Scale human instinct. There is no substitute for real talent, real instruments, real voice, and real passion. This music reminds me that not all hope is lost. Reign of Kindo: thank you, please keep surpassing my expectations and please keep making this wonderful sound.

These guys are great. The cd is great from start to finsh. Hope these guys make it big and are around for a long time!
