    ...Dog Days would be it. It's quite simply the best the genre has ever produced. There's not a stinker on the album and Sweet Soul Sister is one of my favorite songs of all time. This is spring time, beer drinking music at its best. How this group never got the acclaim that Whiskeytown, Uncle Tupelo, and The Jayhawks did, I'll never know. They are simply one of the finest alt country bands to ever strike up a chord. Their new album "Midnight In Mississippi" is excellent, by the way.
