Nunca en la vida había escuchado la música de Gaby. Y estoy honestamente sorprendido. Es ELLA quien debería ser la artista guatemalteca que llena estadios. El hecho que sean otros -como el sobrevalorado Arjona o el fabricado por una telefónica Carlos Peña (a quien afortunadamente ya le pasaron sus 0.5 segundos de fama- sólo es una muestra de lo absolutamente idióticas que son las masas. Bien por Gaby. Su música es espectacular, honesta, con un sonido íntimo e inspirador. Bra-vo!!

Just saw Gaby Moreno at the 2010 Midpoint Music Festival in Cincinnati at the Blue Wisp Jazz Club, and she has a lovely voice with range and power. A smoky timbre and solid songwriting....keep your eye on her. Closing song of the set, "The Immigrants," was a high point.....hope it's on her next release.

I saw Gaby play live last night and wow, she truly blew me away. I had never heard of her. I was just there to support a friend. Authentic, soulful, exciting, and brilliant. I'll be shocked if the world doesn't come to know her in the very near future.

I saw Gaby open up for Ani Difranco last night (1/30/10) and immediately knew I had to buy the album! Her voice is FABULOUS, her presence and tone are soothing and the guitar talent is through the roof! Give her a listen - I promise you won't be disappointed!
