- Great Lyrics

This is another great song with the thought-provoking lyrics created by Wyclef Jean, that his fans are used to. Also in response to the "MartinAmerica" review, this song came out in 2004 and has nothing to do with Obama, Wyclef was probably commenting on other political situations in the USA at the time or perhaps involving his own country considering it was on an album celebrating his Haitian heritage. But I must admit, some may have found it useful to use this song because of our current/historical election. Elections are on Tuesday everyone exercise your right to vote.
- best wyclef song ever... besides guantanamera!

this version is sooo good. The original from 2004 is also awesome.... i suggest buying them both. You can really feel the soul if you play along with them.

If you want to hear the original "President" song, it's on his "Welcome to Haiti - Creole 101" album. I like both versions, this is nice little Live song. The Album version to me is a 5 star song.

Wyclef is not a big supporter of Obama, Wyclef for president, Herald of the truth, of undeserved kindness. Wyclef is entirely too busy prophesying to support any empty minded politician.
You will do yourself well to wake up.
- Bob Marley?

He sounds a bit like bob marley but has lyrics are nowhere near as good. This song is bad not just because of the lyrics but because of the background music as well. Its ok but I dont reccomend it.
- Nice Message, Old Song

This song is a little dated. It was featured on Chappelle's Show way back in the day. Of course back then when it was written it was much more hypothetical. It does put a nice twist on the song now that we are actually presented with the opportunity to vote for a black President that is a nominee of a "major" party...but I digress.
Wyclef does what he does best on this song, which is write what he knows and feels in a raw way (just him and an accoustic guitar mostly). Much better than his attempts at pop music.
I think if he ever got his crap together and released a *real* album, there is a market for it now in the post-"hip hop is dead" era.
- Not a new song.

Some think that this song it about Barack Obama, so you are mistaken. The song was preformed on Chapelle's Show on March 17, 2004, before Obama's historic 2004 DNC speech. Amazing song no matter what.
- this is great music
