If you ever have a chance to see him live, it's even better than this amazing cd!! I saw him cover Amos too - he plays Amos live better than Amos does. Gives me chills!!

Been waiting for this album for a long time. First discovered them on youtube. Great musicians and even better guys. If you have any doubts, just check them out on youtube. I'm not sure if their live or polished music is better they are that good! This is a must buy.

I, like many, found Alain de Courtenay on youtube long ago. One reviewer compared him to Damien Rice and I would have to agree with that assessment 100%. His vocals blend beautifully with his guitar and the violin. I would recommend this CD to anyone as it is the beginning of what appears to be an extremely promising musical career for this genuinely great musician. Buy it!

I first fell in love with Alain and TJ on YouTube, like many other of their ever increasing band of followers. From there, I followed them to their MySpace and even contacted them personally. These guys are not only amazing musicians, but amazing people as well. They're both sweethearts that put their hearts and souls into their music - and it shows. This is a must-have album and is sure to be their first release of many.
  • So Good!

One of the best albums I have ever heard in my life. A truly talented artist full of passion and creativity. I especially like Make-Believe, Freedom, and Love Anyway. A must buy! It's a masterpiece, in fact. P.S. The live performance is just as magnificent, if not better.
  • Astonishing. Enchanting. Profound.

I first discovered Alain and TJ on youtube from their amazing covers, which led me to their original performances, which led me to their myspace, imeem uploads, whatever i could get my hands on. Their music is like nothing you've ever heard before. It's captivating. From the meek and subtle songs like Love Anyway, to the strong and dynamic Godspeed. Every song on this album has importance. Every song is unique and fascinating. I hope to see a lot more of these extremely talented musicians. With this album available to the mainstream, it's only a matter of time before Alain emerges as the next Damien Rice, with TJ being his Lisa Hannigan of sorts.
