So I know this is a very historical group, but the recording are as well. I would skip their poor quality for some great american pipes and brass check out the album Canadian Bagpipes & American Brass by the Canadian Scottish Regiment Pipes and Drum & 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing Band. THE BEST BAGPIPE ALBUM EVER!!! This one is alright for history but for music check out this awesome album by the Marines and our neighbors to the north.

What w/the amalgamation of the Scottish infantry regiments, the Black Watch are no more. Not just that, but the times when these regiments had both a Highland and Lowland band. So sad. So, if anything else, this is a hell of a good time capsule. But I must say, it is worth the whole cost of this album to have "Sleep Dearie Sleep," possibly one of the most chilling, haunting songs, much less laments, one will ever hear. I like this.
