but it would be insane with even better production. Madlib needs to get on the production for L.I.F.E. for it to be legendary.

To those who followed Binary Star and One Be Lo will surly enjoy this album. The only issue I had found was that a lot of time is spent on sampling movie quotes, but this isn't anything new to those who follow the politically correct lyricist. He is defined, pure, and amazing. It's no S.O.N.O.G.R.A.M., but still worth the buy.

This album is great. I am a huge One Be Lo/One Man Army fan, and this album didnt disapoint. Lo has always been a good story teller, always has great rymes, and deep meanings. He always seems to manage to talk about every day life, and the struggles of it, without coming off as whiney like a lot of mediocre rappers do. This album has high replay ability. I highly recomend this to anyone who enjoys Lo.

One Be Lo brings a creative intelligent flow without being soft. Every song on here is at least a 3-star, and the album has a story-telling flow to it. The best song is "House Rules" where One makes a metaphor for life in the inner city out of the different things that can happen in a craps game. Beautiful! Also make a priority of listening to "Headlines" where One ponders what a caveman would think if he came back to life now. One hasn't lost any of his creativity, hunger, or lyrical gift as most rappers do after several albums.
