I had to swing thru for a listen because I liked "flashy lights".. What I heard was talent.. He is a good writer and his lyrics are full of substance.. Beats are hot! Dwele is slepted on! Buy before iTunes raise the price..

Another one of those things we call classics...I'm sorry but, when your album has 141 ratings and your AVERAGE is 5 stars...well, just buy the album :)

I didn't to much care for this cd, I guess I was looking for it to be like his first one. However, I am sitll his fan. It's really hard to find "good music" nowadays. You still have a fan Dwele.
- SPEAK UP!

He sings like a background singer on some songs. He almost seems to be whispering. He should either sing louder or they should turn down the beat.

Dwele had a soulful voice, and a mellow sound that is easy to listen to at the end of a long day. He takes a different direction from the music of today, avoiding simple beats and catchy hooks to sell ringtones, instead sharing life experiences through melodic grooves. He is a true Detroit talent who puts passion and work into his art. Also, he is a very genuine and humble person. I met him when his first CD came out, at Best Buy, he was shopping there. Just a nice guy who you would run into on an everyday basis, without an inflated ego. His music makes me think of what the industry could be, if all artists put their heart into their work.
- Best new soul album!
