I never heard of this group but I found it in my recommendations.....seeing as I have in my collection almost every '80's rock tune there is, I said to myself " How did I MISS this group!" And then I realized that this group is NEW ! Wow....spectacular music, captured that amazing eighties vibe...the best music that ever was ! Keep 'em coming, Khymera !

Excellent! They sound a bit like Giant, one of the best 80's bands that unfortunately most people have never heard of. If you love 80's hard rock / "happy metal", then this is for you.

I have several hundred Rock albums from the 80's, 90's, and now some of the newer stuff that is making a comeback, and this Album is by far in my top 5 of all time. Every song rocks! All you have to do is buy this album, crank up the volume, sit back and enjoy! I hope Khymera makes another album soon. Check out their other two albums, they too are very good.

this album is straight up fantastic. personally, i cant stand the frat-boy douchebag spikey hair dads trust fund bands who just crash a symbol for 3 minutes and burp into the mic and exchanged guitar solos for screams. this is NOT that type of album. crisp guitars, melodic and well produced, and dennis ward's vocals are awesome. this album to me is better than anything that has been on terrestrial radio in years. i hope THIS rock replaces the garbage thats out there today.

Where has this band been hiding?!! Absolutely awesome production, vocals, and instrumentation. Very catchy songs. I would reccomend this to AOR/melodic rock fans that prefer a harder edge.

Took a chance on this based on fact I appreciate Dennis Ward's body of work w/ PC69 and just about every other rock album of significance the past decade as bass player, singer, producer, mixer, writer, pizza delivery guy, & massage therapist. I am sure he will somehow be able to solve the Middle East crisis as well. Where he finds the time to sleep, I don't know. After listening to the first few cuts, immediatly went back about bought the other 2 albums. This album has surprisingly good lead vocals and bass work from Dennis Ward, The right amount of guitars that sounds fantastic, but doesn't feel like it will blow the back wall of the house out, superior lyrics & harmony and excellent production. You will quickly find yourself humming along to some memorable chorus' and banging away on the steering wheel in time to the drums. Similar to Place Vendome, a "tamer" PC69, Wigwam not on uppers, this will surely earn a regular spot in your CD rotation. I bought some other CDs from different artists @ the same time, but always keep coming back to this album. Take a chance, it will not dissapoint.
  • It's a shame the US has turned its back on this kind of great music.

Khymera has a great melodic rock sound that's reminiscent of Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, Journey, and Winger. Great vocals, big, bombastic guitars, soaring power ballads, and crunching rockers. This album is a little more listener friendly than their previously albums. The vocals are much clearer, and in my opinion, much easier understood. All their albums are solid, but if you're more of a power ballad fan, start with this album. If you like the harder stuff, their self-titled album is a little heavier. Great album, and definitely priced right.
  • A MUST!!

This is truely a great melodic album and Dennis Ward's vocals are stronger than ever. Filled with tight riffs and smooth harmonies.

This is simply one of the best rock albums ever made!! Khymera has released (2) previous albums but they do not hardly compare to this one. Thanks to Frontier Records for releasing this rock wonder which is one of the most commercially viable rock albums ever! Frontier Records in Italy strives to release music that harkens back to the rock of the 80's and this album succeeds on every level. The music, vocal, and harmony is simply unsurpassed and is the finest example of everything that can be done right with a rock album. Every song is simply a gem!! My standout favorites are Borderline, Burn Out, No Sacrifice, The Greatest Wonder, If I Can't Be, and The Other Side but listen to the others as well as they are fantastic as well. This album deserves 10 Stars!! This CD immediately became one of my top 10 CD's of all time and I have been listening to music (Rock, Metal, Country) for over 30 years.
