Sun Giant - EP

I was completely won over by Mykonos, and it is a prefect example of my musical taste, I love this song. If you guys read this, WRITE MORE LIKE MYKONOS!!!

As someone who listens to genres of music that normally consist of metal I will waver into the alt genre quite often for soothing sounds. This is a perfect EP. I put in my earbuds on nights that sleep just won't come easily, flick the constant repeat switch and enjoy. I close my eyes and have pulses of feelings I can't explain wash over me. It's something like a hollow happiness feeling, it's unexplainable. Buy it. Listen to it. Love it.

Ok so very similar to the post I just read... I also grew up listening and watching my father and grand father play 60's and 70's music.... Dylan.Young,CSN,.etc. .. I am blown away by this group. I was literally introduced to this band as well a Blitzen Trapper,Iron and Wine and many more 2 weeks ago.. My brother who resides now in Portland OR turned me on to a ton of them... and I am hooked!! I have not been able to stop listening to these guys and many others with similar style! I am a 3rd generation Guitar player.I try to play as often to my daughter as possible and I am always looking for new songs to play to her! I did pick up some Band of Horses a few years back.. I was very pleased with their music. I was finding it tough to find music my father was willing to play with me out side of his era... I have now found it! I dont know how much thanks I can give my brother..But I feel like I have been under a rock! HE OPENED MY EYES! THANK YOU! Now if you didnt play or sing like an amputee ( cant hold a note, cant carry a tune) It would be nice to do some covers with pop! j/k I know ..."you got the looks and i got the talent" LOVE YOU BRO!! THANK YOU!

The most calming, beautiful, majestic, mystical magical band ever fleet foxes and their first sunny warm blazing windy EP of unmeasurable bliss. It's great to just sit outside on a warm day with this on. You will sell your soul to this bands music soon enough.

Awesome EP

I first heard, “Mykonos” in the movie,”Due Date when the hero, contemplating his recent turn of events by staring out the window of a car traveling through the desert, searches for his answer. AAAAAAnd yeah, it pretty much sounds perfect for this type of trip. This band has a distant, yet homely sound throughout their music and this song is an emblem of it.

I can't call myself a fan yet, since I just discovered these guys! But man! Music to my freaking ears! they remind me alot of America in their tone and composition, but at the same time they have their own flavor that's unmistakable. GOD I LOVE MUSIC!!!
