This album is imaginitive, umbridled, beautifully excecuted and rocks like nothing else. She's so far ahead of the pack. most people have no idea she's even in the race. But she's doing the damn thing, TRUST! I love this album.

I learned about this hidden gem from a friend who resides in Brooklyn. When she first told me of this album, it was a passing thought which I later looked up on MySpace only to discover that I was absolutely in love with the lush and aural soundscapes that she creates with the angry combinations of synths juxtaposed against the delicious melody of her vocals. Remove your presumptions because this is unlike anything that can presently be heard in the neo-soul genre or otherwise. A highly uninhibited expression of joy, anger, patience, and passion not unlike Abbey Lincoln and Max Roach's connection on the seminal "Freedom Now Suite". Buy it because you know it needs to be heard.
