    An ex of mine gave me this CD for my birthday. It is without question the best, most lasting gift I've ever recieved. A punk at heart, this CD somehow manages to capture the raw emotion that I love and yet presents it in a beautiful way. Each song is different, some of them are acoustic folk, some of them are lush tapestries with violins and subtle electronic effects. But not only is the music amazing and transcendent, the lyrics are the best of this decade. Get this CD.

    It is a truly wonderful thing that this album, along with three others created by Ms. Venable, is finally available on iTunes. I've adored this particular album for a long time, and I highly recommend it to any fan of any music. Take a chance, you won't regret it.
