"The Whale" - EP

My favorite band. A wonderful combination of simplicity and meaning in the music. I would be very greatful, however, if iTunes had their album "We Have Cause to be Uneasy". The Whale is a disappointingly short album, but at a reflecting, fair price.

I knew Preston when he was my worship leader for wednesday night church and it is so good to hear him mature and become such a great musician. This album is awesome and so is the band!

great band. hopefully this will be the band that makes people stop listening to all the crappy bands and start paying attention to real music.

This band is absolutely amazing...strong lyrics and vocals!

If you love The Whale, try Ten Dead Dogs. It is WSO's best musicianship yet and some of the most heartfelt, personally identifiable writing that I have heard in a long time. They have an album coming soon of which Ten Dead Dogs is the lead song, so buy it in July because it is well worth the money. These guys are thoughtful musicians who entertain but also force you to consider every word of their insightful and human lyrics.

Just saw them open up for Counting Crows in Kenosha, WI (what an unbelievable show) and they really impressed me. Stage presence was amazing and all the songs were great. The lead singer reminds me of a young Ryan Adams (not comparing styles, just something about him). I can't wait for the LP.

While seemingly nobody has ever heard of these guys, I think this is a great album,even if it is an EP. . My two favorite songs are Tilt(acoustic) and Land of No Return. The lead singer has an amazing voice and i really like the whole grove that the band plays with. I hope they follow this up with a great album, which should come soon.

Then buy this now! and iTunes really needs to get Wild Sweet Orange's earlier stuff like House of Regret and We Have Cause To Be Uneasy which are both amazing.

This is amazing.

This is simply one of the best bands out there. I've known almost all the band members for several years, and, not only are they stand up guys, they're really excellent musicians as well. Get the album, and you'll be hooked.
