Just discovered these guys the other day. I am blown away. The soundscapes on this album are amazing. Every song on this album is worth listening. One of the few albums I have come across in a while that I can just let it play all the way through.

I absolutely loved "Young Effectuals," if for no other reason than the last three minutes of "Take Take Take" always get me. This album is full of songs that hit me like the last three minutes of that song. "Lately, the title track and "Back to This" refine the band's synth-pop leanings, but I'm a sucker for "Shed Your Love," "Back To This," "Hallelujah," "Broken Afternoon" and "No Regrets." No matter what style you go for, this is Helio Sequence's best album to date.

I can not believe it has taken me this long to find this band. I am new to their music and this was the first CD I ever bought from them. I was completely blown away. Every track was different but each fit perfectly into the rhythm of the album. The Helio Sequence mixes folksy narratives rich with lyrical imagery effortlessly with bumping electronics you can just feel yourself bouncing to once they start. I was really impressed by You Can Come to Me, in particular, because it is such an unusual and disarming love song. It took me three whole listens to really realize what the song was about and it’s probably the song I most appreciate. I listened to the whole CD with a smile on my face and the smile is still there twenty listens later. If you like completely joy-making music this is the album for you. I’d say it’s a must have.

If you haven't already, you need to download this album. The Helio Sequence has such a unique sound and the songs are so relaxing and beautiful. I could put Shed Your Love on repeat forever. Also, I went to see Keane and they opened for them...amazing live.
