I played this song to death in 2007, just revisited it again last week, sounds better than before. It seems Bill releases tracks when they are ready and not just pushes them out as fast as possible like many other labels and remixers. Don't agree, listen to his stuff compared to other DJs. I just purchased Inaya's Nasty Girl and was thrilled to discover this masterpiece featuring Bill Bennett. The vocals are pure house and the beat are all about the DANCE ANTHEM. It's a perfect 5! Mike Andrews Dante's Cove Remix 2008 I T U N E S

The reviewer who bought this not knowing that this is a release with 9 different remixes of the same song made me laugh. Pay a little more attention please! I like this tune and I'm looking forward to Bill Bennett releasing an original song and not covers of 80's hits!

I agree that BIG PIG's original 80's track is the best , I played that record out. But as a DJ the 80's sound does not work in dance clubs these days. Bill and his production partner Pete Masitti have brought this track up to 2008 by adding many layers and polishing elements of the original. Yes, Sherry Payne's vocals from the original group would of made this cover perfect but Inaya Day also did a great job as well. I am a member of Bill's fan club and if I recall he was originally going to re - do Big Pig's " Hungry Town " but switched at the last minute. I am really looking forward to his full length album " Big Muscle Of The Rhythm " this summer.

  • Don't Forget the Original...

This is an awesome cover, to be sure... But for anyone familiar with the band Big Pig (who did the original), it loses a bit in the translation. The album mix lacks the percussive punch that the original song had (probably due to the fact that Big Pig was made up of several drummers playing REAL drums). The Bill Bennet remixes also closely resemble variations on the original "Popper" remix released in the 80s, which is interesting... Even the reworking of the cover seems derivative. Yes, this is a great song and I can understand why people are going crazy on the dancefloor for it. But don't forget to give credit where credit is due - to the band who wrote the original. This version revitalizes it, but does not top it.

this album is one song mixed 9 different ways. If I had realized it was the same song and not a long song mix, I would have only bought one song. and there is no returning the extra songs.
