Gamma Meditation System

I am a biology instructor and I teach so many different classes that I am always prepping new material. Sometimes it is really hard to get in the groove or switch gears for a new course. This music is excellent in the background. Calming, but not as relaxing in the put-you-to-sleep way as the deep relaxation tracks from Thompson. Seems to keep me from distracting myself, especially when I'm home alone and prone to terrible bouts of procrastination!

I have to confess to doubts about this stuff but am now hooked! Listen to it often and find I am buzzing for hours after. Love the waves of "fireworks" that seem to go off with my eyes closed. The clarity afterwards is great and it quietens my incessant brain chatter while meditating. The music is a little creepy at times so I wouldn't listen to it if you can't relax into it - it doesn't work for me if my kids are banging around in the background, I keep thinking their doing something naughty!
