Half a Mil Is the New Five Grand

Magnaaflux's newest record "Half A Mil Is The New Five Grand" was penned by Seattle music veterans who've been at it since long before the city's music scene was described using the "G-word". Although this record was produced by the legendary Jack Endino, this isn't a throwback/tribute to the daze of yore illustrated by blurry Charles Peterson photos. Endino and Magnaaflux have realized the band's sound in an exciting, diverse collection of songs. This album not only distinguishes Magnaaflux from plaid-inspired rock of nearly twenty years ago, but promises to expand what people imagine when they think of "a band from Seattle".
