Thirteen Blue Magic Lane

Every Halloween I play this album, due to its "haunted house theme". Truly, one Blue Magic's finest hour.

So, if you went off to an HBCU in 1972, in all likelihood, this Blue Magic album was a party favorite. I have frequently thought of Margie Joseph and the duet she sang on this album but I never did anything about it. Boy am I glad I purchased this music. Joseph's voice is phenomenal. Even my hip- hop loving, raised on Madona, Mariah, Erika & Beyonce kids had to admit that Joseph has a great voice. Rarely do today's vocalists have the Joseph's timbre. The duet is plaintive and you FEEL the longing. The other hits on the album bring back great memories and I really belive that today's youth might find this brand of old school soul highly enjoyable!

Their baddest Lp to date! At least 6 of the 8 cuts were hits!!!!!! That's the MAGIC of the BLUE!!!!

i just knew something was amiss with this album a song a beautiful song is missing from this album. i use to listen to this album many times while station with third mar. rgt. kah.hi.still love the album but could artist reissue the album with the missing song(s)?
