  • Among the best of the Atlantic Years...

The vocal on this entire album is superb, Deborah always delivers. My favorites are Love Or Money, Do You Have It In Your Heart?, Free Me, Losin Myself, When I Say No, and Tear Down These Walls. Goodbye for sentimental reasons... Despite lack of promotion from the label, Losin Myself did chart, and was a moderate video hit at VH1, and is still among the best of her videos to date. Glad to see this one here.

Most of these songs are very good and reflect a grown-up, sexier Deborah. "Losin' Myself" is the highlight. It's similar in vibe to Sade's "No Ordinary Love."

This has got to be one of my favortie Debbie Gibson albums of all time! I was 14 years old when this album first came out in 1993... I was finally beginning to mature and was getting that little Debbie had to grow up & she had much more to say that was a bit more than "Only In My Dreams"! "Free Me" did very well at the clubs in remix form, and "How Can This Be?" was a moderate adult contempory hit. Let's not forget the wonderful time the TV news magazine shows had with the fact that she was a stripper in the "Losin' Myself" video! Sadly, no proper concerts were ever performed for this album, as she got the lead as "Sandy" in the London stage production of "Grease Is The Word" soon after this albums release.

When I first bought this cd in 1993 I didn't really like it. It was so different than her earlier cds. But over time I have grown to love this cd. Glad to see its on itunes!
