I only bought one song, Linus & Lucy--because I don't like the percussion Vince Guarldi plays in the very first part of the song. In Itunes' 20-second sample of the song on this album, it's nice, clean piano in the beginning that sounded good to me. But as soon as it downloaded I and played the whole thing, I hated it. Much of the song is played not staccato but still in a choppy manner where the original isn't. It doesn't sound good to me, and I knew that every time I played it I'd wonder why I bought it. This is the first song I have ever downloaded from Itunes, then immediately trashed.

In my band class we got the music for number 1,2,3,4, and 6. My fav was Greensleeves bc of the challenge, but I wish we got to play Skating in an actual concert, maybe next year. I hope u guys love the cd. Charlie Brown= <3 forever

The piano playing is terrible. It doesn't even sound like a real person is playing it. They definitely have not had enough piano instruction to even begin to actually make music with emotion. Where's the dynamic contrast!? This is a waste.

For all the fans of Charlie Brown and Vince Guarldi's work, just please get the original...this version lacks the passion, feeling, and esscence of his music. It sounds like I'm listening to a robot playing the songs rather than a pianist. More like a 6th grade sing along tape than anything else...STAY AWAY!!

if you love the charlie brown christmas music you will be dissappointed!! it doesn't do the original any justice. there is so much piano in the original, you might as well just buy that and not this. this piece sounds like they just stripped all the accompiaments and placed in a crappy pianist. sorry, don't like it.
