What a great record! For musicians who 'get' the concepts behind each tune, or for technical enthusiasts who just like to have their head spun, Jarzombek runs circles around our understanding and concepts of rock music... And possibly music in general! Also known as the architect behind Watchtower and the even-more-mind-blowing Spastic Ink, Ron Jarzombek continues to impress with his compositional prowess and his -let's face it- unbelievable work ethic.
  • Guitarist in his own realm

Having been a fan of Ron's since about 1988 with Watchtower Control and Resistance, owning all of Spastik and Blotted material I knew what to expect. This release sounds like Spastik w/o vocals, in other words extremely awesome. This man has such a firm grasp of musical composition he can probably play all his material in his sleep. If you are a guitarist this should be mandatory study material.
  • Wish it was longer, so you got to buy the whole thing.

These guitar solos (as amazing as they are), are part of basically all one big piece that is chopped up into small pieces (a good comparison is Mekong Delta's album Vision Fugitives, which contains five songs chopped up into five minute long sections to make up movements of an orchestral piece). However, it is good to just hear shred, and few slow moments that make up most guitar virtuoso albums that make you want to stop listening before the good stuff comes. All in all, very interesting. Just make them over two minutes next time Ron.

Are you kidding? This is pretty amazing. it's metal, chill, amazing guitar solos, a bit trippy at times, and each song flows into the next. Check it out.
