I made the mistake of buying this album because of one song. The guy just has a terrible voice and talks more than sing songs. The band is not bad but seems to sound the same on all songs with the same beat. "up against the wall" is a fun song with the crowd involved. Forget the rest.

Jerry Jeff Walker doesn't get the credit he deserves in a lot of areas in the US - Texas has is figured out!! His ability to put words together along with his tone and rhythm create something very unique and, for me, very special. Funny sense of humor, touching ballads, pretty much always upbeat, which I appreciate. I like a broad spectrum of music & I've been a BIG Jerry Jeff fan for years - he's definitely one to have in your library.
