  • Is this sight read?

This doesn't sound like a computer reading the sheet music, it sounds like a 14 year-old mediocre piano student sight-reading the score... and not very well!
  • pretty good

The music is pretty good, it does sound a little computer-ish, mostly with the timing on Defying Gravity, but its fun to sing with and sounds great anyways. I wish they would do "No Good Deed".

Perhaps you all take this too seriously. Its good music. Whether computer or human. It is no big deal. Get over yourselves (yes i am talkin' to you "joshualindley", whoever you are)

songs like these should NEVER be played on a keyboard or computer piano. these songs belong to a grand piano, now were talkin. get it right or dont do it at all!
  • It's ok, not amazing, but it's a good listen

Ok, so yes you can really tell that it's synthesized on a computer. But it does provide a different content than the broadway version of the songs. It's very easy to listen to, and ok yes there are some parts where all the music meshes together and it doesn't sound quite right. But the best songs on the album, in my oppinion, still sounded great. I'm not that girl, Defying Gravity, and For Good turned out very well. So it's definately worth buying those three at least.
  • It's Wicked, but...

See, I love Wicked a lot, but I could really tell that someone just let Finale do all the work in this. I mean, it didn't sound like real piano, just mecahnical. Wicked is great, but if I were you, buy the piano book and play real piano off of that. You may sound ten times better than this.
  • This is not a real piano!

I kinda liked this CD, but the piano is totally NOT real.
  • It's what you think it is

Despite the negative coments being posted, the music's still great. If you just want to sit back and have this playing in the backround, want to try learning it by ear to play on your own, or sing along with it (as previousely mentioned), then it's perfect. In my opinnion it does have dynamics and changes that happen as would when a real piano player is using it. Truthfully, those who say otherwise are probably jealouse
  • amazing!

These are all great tracks, and they really help me when I'm playing the songs myself on the piano. Beautifully done, the dynamics are perfect and you really get the feeling of each song.
