I've never heard of John before until a few months ago and I'm amazed by the great quality of this album. Each song transports you into a different mood, which is very important so it doesn't become monotonous listening to a single artist. There is tons of talent within this guy and I'm sure all future work will be only better.
- Someone needs to get this music onto a movie soundtrack!

From the UK to NYC and beyond...
This album has everything, from atmospheric sounds of NYC, to rock out sessions with the band, delicate vocals that pull at the heart strings, and echos of England that bounce of the hard streets of Broadway.
Bugs is just awesome - a sure-fire hit if there ever was one - The hook in this track is at another level.
Testimony has echos of Oasis (in a good way), and would make another great single.
I can hear influences from Brit Pop to Coldplay, even Peter Gabriel era Genesis (the vocal chant in Carousel).
But above all, here's a genuine song writing talent, who can write, play and sing with equal aplomb.
A rare thing in these days of throw away pop.
You'll be hearing John's music on a film soundtrack, or maybe as backing in a show like Grey's Anatomy for sure.
It has that level of intensity, that level of emotional involvement, and it's just plain brilliant!
