    While I may listen to and enjoy other versions of this work; this is by far the best version out there and the only one that I have repeatedly bought as part of my collection...from tape, to CD and now to iTunes.

    This is by far my favorite performance of Carmina Burana. I would give it five stars if it weren't for the terrible tape hiss throughout the entire recording.

    Seriously an EXCELLENT recording!!! I don't understand how others could skip over EUGENE ORMAMDY! an excellent conductor, excellent soloists, excellent chorus; this is a Great interpretation! Three cheers for Carmina Burana and Eugene Ormandy!!!!! HORRAAH HORRAAH!!!!!
