Great song belted out very nicely by DeAnne Roberts. It's the kind of music you can go down the road to, and her voice suits the song. I like her straightforward style -- no artifice. Here's hoping it's the start of a rewarding career for her and that she can use her maturity -- both vocally and in general -- to make it in the music world. Anxious to hear what she and Sony BMG come up with next. And let's don't overlook the person who wrote the song. Can't remember myself who it was, but they did good too!

I too watched the program, Six Degrees of Martina McBride, and was not impressed with the overall selection of the candidates at first; however, DeAnne really pulled through as she realized her dream coming true. She has an original voice that hints of deeper story to tell. She reminds me a little of Tammy Wynette and Tanya Tucker, but still has a sound of her own that is original. I look forward to hearing more from this new, future country legend.

I caught the show on the last 30 minutes. I fell in love with DeAnne, I'm 39 and just a few months ago lost a music competion on tv in Seattle and it broke my heart. I vow never to sing in competitions again!! But DeAnne gave me hope and reminded me that..."you know.. it could happen!!". I found DeAnne's voice refeshing. She did a great job on this song. I believe we will be hearing a lot more from this new comer.
