Spread the Fire

Although the lyrics do speak of beating posers and speaking of Metal coming back and staying, such as many other bands, this album is amazing!! I support these guys 100% I ordered this album and it's my favorite album yet! The vocals are strong and thrashy! The riffs sound tough and stand out. I recommend this album to the reaaaaal Thrashers out there!!

Did the iTunes review really call Pantera "power metal"?

Because this album sounds like all those bands rolled into one. In my poinion, the best modern thrash metal album, only challenged warbringer's first 2 albums or havok's work. Sounds like it's from 25 years ago.

You know that band that always plays at the shows you go to, that band that's there every time, yet goes unremembered by everyone present? The band who seem to play nothing but covers? This is really the only way I can describe Fueled By Fire - they might as well just play covers, because they sure don't try to throw any originality or personal style into the mix. This is straight-up old-school thrash worship - which is really just code for "cut-and-paste new-wave thrash". The riffs and lyrics are standard, the band merely competent, and the music bland and uninteresting - that, and the cover is probably one of the dumbest I've ever seen, it's basically just another "HUR HUR, KILL ALL THE POSERZ, THRASH 'TIL DEATH, DURR" statement that we've all seen a million times before. While seeing poser kids suffer is a-okay by me, do me a favor - don't make it the centerpiece of your musical methods - poser disgust is already well-established enough in metal. All around, I hate this album and most modern thrash albums because they don't deviate from the original formula - at all. No real creativity or independent thought exists in (most) modern thrash acts - and Fueled By Fire are forever doomed to fall into that cursed niche.

this is deffinetly a thrash album they brung back the old school look and sound n the album cover is funny haha im pretty sure hes choking a emo haha

Fueled by fire are friggen awesome. I really like the cover art too for some reason, but I don't know what the guy on the cornerbos doing..... Haha anyways, thrash is back is the best song.

It's like doc from back to the future brought some metalheads with him to save thrash metal! Buy this album. P.S. Flaws in metalcore: -Too much screaming, more yelling -Too slow on certain parts -Topics on songs that can be considered Pop -Not aggressive throughout the whole thing

yes thrash is certainly back and has been back since 2005. this album is different from ones the newer thrash bands. this has an old-school sort of feel to it, which makes it even more enjoyable. spread the fire, thrash is back!!!

Umm, not much to say that hasnt already been said. AMAZING...........yeah.
