I never came across Britny Fox until 25 years after they hit the big time. There are a couple of strong tracks here, like "Girlschool" and a cover of "Hair of the Dog." Overall, though, Britny Fox comes off as too shallow to be really great, and they don't deliver enough laughs to make up for that, as did RATT, for example. The hidden gem is "Dream On." Maybe it got ignored because another song of the same name by a band that had obviously influenced Brinty Fox was already released 15 years before it came out? Maybe. But I think "Dream On" is a great song, and original in its own right.

Britny Fox rocks! I only found out about this band a few months ago and I can't believe I missed their music all these years. They are missing some great songs on this album from the Bite down Hard album like some people had said but I believe the Bite down Hard was released after the greatest hits one. My favorite Britny Fox song is Dream On because I really think Dean's voice sounds great in it.

Two of these guys were in Cinderella then split to form Britny Fox. Two stars for their two hits.

These guys came out about the same as Cinderella. The first album is a doozy to own.
  • a good compilation of songs from their first two albums

It should've had a couple of songs from Bite Down Hard, but otherwise, this is a good collection of Britny Fox tunes and a good place to start for those who never heard their music before.

Lets face it, Britny Fox didn't have any real mainstream hits, so to not include "Look My Way" and "Midnight Moses" is really a travesty! Even a casual Britny fan would want those. The other reviewer had it right- the suits put together this one.

One of the greatest hair bands from the 80's and early 90's. Girlschool - This song is a classic and just an awesome party song you can't say more or less of it. 10/10 Long Way To Love - Probably their biggest hit behind Girlschool and a great song with a diversity in Dean's Voice. 9.5/10 Save The Weak - almostsounds like Paul Stanley and has a Kiss sound and is a great ballad for any headbanger. 9.5/10 Don't Hind - My favorite riff by these guys and amzing power in this song. 10/10 Gudbut T'Jane - Whats up with hair bands covering Slade!? but they do a better job then Quiet Riot it is pure sleaze on this song thanks to Britny Fox. 9.5/10 Livin' On The Edge - More In your face then their other stuff but still a good rickin' song. 8.5/10 In Motion - Chrous and powerfull verse. i expected a little more. 7/10 Standing In The Shadows - Me personal favorite by B.F. and an amzing song it is just perfect for B.F. 10/10 Hair of the Dog - Another cool riff for u guitar players. and cool lyrics. Very Rocking! Now Your Messin with a... 9.9/10 She's So Lonely - I Love the guitar in this band and the power but to boring on chorus but great verse and riff which makes the song worth it. 9/10 Dream On - What Britny Fan doesn't know this song and it is one of the greatest power ballads of all time in my book. 10/10 Long Way To Love (Live in Japan) - Britny has a great live vibe and sound just like their record and just hearing this makes you know that u should have seen them in concert! 10/10 So buy this cd right NOW!!!
